What can I say about me? I'm a 31-year-old woman who suddenly got the desire to learn how to draw manga. So, I got out my 'how to draw manga' book and started having a go. I'm a beginner, I don't know what I'm doing and I'm too old to be learning this stuff, but it's just far too much fun!
I'm hoping over the years my offerings will get better and my deviantART page will become a nice little log of my journey from crazy lady who carries Crayola pencils around in her bag to, well, crazy lady who still carries pencils around but actually draws good pictures with them.

Project 2013

The last couple of years have been very good for me. I've had two beautiful baby boys, I've finished my university studies, and I've done quite a lot of writing. However the years have not been good to my deviantART account. I've uploaded no new art since my first son was born, my art magazines and books are left unread, and my expensive markers are going unused. But 2013 holds new hope. With my degree finished, my boys sleeping through the night and a whole host of new story ideas that need characters the stage is set for a good year of drawing. Will I do a sketch every day? Probably not, but I did one yesterday, and I plan to do another one
